Vivo d’Orcia on Mount Amiata is the headquarters of the Parco Vivo cooperative, a forest of beech and chestnut trees where the visitable springs of the Ermicciolo flow, a few meters from the church of the same name founded by San Romualdo in the 11th century, which will be a stop on the our trip.

Monticchiello. An authentic medieval village in the heart of the Val d’Orcia, it still keeps all its peculiarities intact, such as the large tower, the city walls, the Church of SS. Leonardo and Christopher. Aspects that the attentive visitor may prefer, with postcard scenarios. Since 1967, the Teatro Povero of Monticchiello has strongly characterized the fate of the community, which finds itself acting out in the large square, questioning itself about the future. In our company it will be possible to visit the historical environments of the cooperative and the TePoTraTos Museum.

The van tour in the company of an environmental guide from the cooperatives is the fastest way to cross the Val d’Orcia and Amiata. Our expert guide will be able to tell the story of the places and people, protagonists of the most interesting realities. It will be possible to meet historical figures who will enrich the narrative with anecdotes and curiosities.
